Introduction

ALARICO ICTI will give scientific and research contribution in the framework of the projects that the Mining Italiana and the RINT - Research and Industrialization of New Technologies are developing. at the Laboratories of Montalto Uffugo (CS - Italy) and at the Research Centres of Lamezia Terme (CZ - Italy) and Vaccareccia (VT - Italy).

The projects that are already in advanced stage of development are the following :

• "Study, design, development and industrialization of sustainable and innovative technologies for the treatment and the exploitation of minerals and polymetallic complex materials"

• "Development of a pilot plant for the treatment of manganiferous minerals for the production of manganese carbonate."
